You know I love to talk to fellow pet sitters in the industry, especially anyone local that understands the nuances we deal with here in New England with the weather, not even mentioning the driving – OK I mentioned the driving.
Today was especially nice because I got to share a part of my morning with Francine Coughlin from Bark n’ Roll Canine Care based in North Reading, MA. Francine and I have known each other for several years so it was understandable that she would be interested in the ProPetHero pet first aid & CPR course for her staff, but what was surprising was the speed at which her staff completed the course!
While we are an online pet first aid & CPR training company, we are still made up of people. We have excellent customer heroes and even people behind those chatbots you would encounter on any of the ProTrainings’ sites, but we also help facilitate busy business owners to get their staff the valuable training they need.
Typically each morning I sign into the back end of our system to check and make certain onboarding for companies that recently purchased is going well. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that Francine’s team had literally blasted through in a span of 24 hrs.
The cool part is, not only can I tell who has been able to get their staff certified but business owners like Francine can also check on staff progress, see scores, print certificates and much more using our specifically designed admin dashboard. The even cooler part – if you have five or more staff, not only can you get access to this feature, but you get discounts off the course AND get to use the admin dashboard.
Since Francine seemed to have figured out a great way to get her staff excited to learn, I had to reach out and share her experience with other pet care companies and even pet owners. This course was made for the busy person who happens to share their lives with animals. There is no reason why you can’t get through it and be certified in the day, heck within less time than it takes to watch a movie.
Listen to our interview for some insight into the pet care profession, learn how Francine is living out her dream of starting a rescue, how she got to where she is now and enjoy finding out how she made getting certified a naturally fun competition for her staff.
